Balanced Checkbook App Comentários

I liked this app because it was very close to an actual checkbook register. What I didn't like is it would miss subtract by .01 and throw the total off. It drove me batty trying to reconcile my checkbook then I figured out it was the app! So frustrating!

I would be very careful about using this app. On two occasions when my laptop lost battery charge, it lost all of the data that had been input. I have to move on and use something else. I recreated all the data the first time......not the second.

I downloaded this app to use as an additional means of organizing my finances, and I am very glad that I did not switch to sole reliance on this system. The app does not compute math correctly, and there is no way to fix the errors without completely altering transaction entries to incorrect numbers. I am a numbers and finances person, and am very glad that I triple check things for errors as this app is not capable of accurately tracking a single account with basic math. I understand that this app is free, and "you get what you pay for". It's just disappointing that this app can't complete the basic functions that it was designed and advertised to do.

Initially I enjoyed this app for managing my balance with my checking account. But, recently it has deleted my entries one too many times. This is very frustrating having to re-enter everything again. Do not buy.

I used to really like this app, but this is the second time now that it has deleted all data entred. So if you want to have to re-enter everything every couple of months go ahead and use this product. if not I would find something else.

I love the app and use it daily! I would totally give it 5 stars if it wasn't for a minor issue I experience often. The only problem I have with the app is that when the app has been open for long periods of time it becomes unresponsive and when its closed and relaunched a lot of the data entered is deleted so I have to re-enter it.

I downloaded this app, entered my information and it immediately froze up. I started from scratch, did it all again, it froze up. I'm done.

Pretty good except the for the part that there are some issues with basic checkbook math. I lost a penny somewhere and the App refuses to correct itself no matter what I do. Not a big deal just kind of strange.

This is a simple check register. It doesn’t retrieve account data from the bank, nor does it track and update investments. After years of increasing frustration with Quicken I finally realized that what I really needed was a susbstitute for the old fashioned paper checkbook register. This little program allows me to manually add in my bank billpay amounts as well as the few physical checks written. The result is a continuous accurate balance including payments not yet processed and checks not yet cleared. In short, it keeps me out of trouble.

Although I can’t seem to figure out where I can place my check mark once the transaction clears. Also can you chance the color of the deposit amounts, it seems fuzzy in green, not to clear, other than that its pretty good.

I like this app and I like that I can have mulitple accounts but I’m not able to see all the accounts at the same time. I wish there was a way to view all accounts at the same time. That would make this app way more functional for me. I’ve also put in a few transactions from one of my accounts and the running balance looks off. I put in my initial balance and a couple other deposits and then a withdrawal. The balance listed with each transaction isn’t right. In one deposit it doesn’t give the right balance but then after the withdrawal it says my account is in the negative. Not going to work for me.

I wanted a simple ledger to keep my online banking transactions at home so I could easily see my current balance and such with having to log into my bank. This does just fine and it’s free. Sometimes having the kitchen sink thrown into a program is not good :)

I like what I see but I am coming form another app which I have used for years, I have about 1100 lines of entries and I am not doing it by hand. This app has an import but it can’t import qif or cvs so I have no idea what it can import. It has no help file and if you go to the website for support it has no listing for this program so I an removing it from my computer and running a security test becuase most apps aren’t useless if they don’t do what they say then they are probably doing something else. I run more toward suspcious so y first thought is malicious. It does appear to make entries though but I don;t know what the app is doing with the data that I put in. Like I say if a app doesn’t work as advertised I assume it’s working as something else.

I’ve been looking for an app to keep track of my checking account for awhile. This looked like the one. So I entered my information for the last six weeks.I loved the interface and the ease of entry. I loved the simple design. But when I went to reconcile by bank statement it did not have this function!!! DId the developer not unde stand the term “balance checkbook”? I’m not sure what the purpose of the app is???
